Thank you for 1963chevrolet.com. I would like to post some of the pictures of my car and tell you a little bit of the story behind it. I bought the car when I was 15 in 1984 for $800.00. It was green and wrecked. In about 1989 I had it repaired and painted white. I also got some new seats and changed the interior to red and white. Note: do not paint your dashboard white in Florida, you won't be able to see out of the windshield and it will make you blind. I still have the car and just put new head on it with hardened seats. I'm in the final tune up stages of it now. It has a 307 with a cam. It came with the car and runs strong. If the lower end goes out I will do a 350 stroked to 383 via 400 crank. (Joe Little "The Machine Shop" is the best machinist in Orlando!) Rust is taking its toll. Someone pulled out in front of me a caused a crash so I'm going to replace the right front fender, hood and trim. I will have had the car 17 years on Labor Day and refuse to sell it. Restoration is slow due to finances. It is a great car. I have put about 140,000 miles on it since I bought it.
With warm regards, Henry Clee

Hi, Just came across your web site. Very nice site.
This is my 63 Biscayne. I've had it for almost 2 years now and enjoy just going for a spin, and driving it to the local cruise nights. It is a Canadian built (St Therese, Quebec) chevy.

Here is an update to my 63 Impala, I restored, replace or rebuilt everything in front of the firewall. I got a brand new GM Performance Parts ZZ4 350 cubic inch crate engine rated at 355hp and 400 ft lbs. I upgraded it with a Holley intake and carb, old style valve covers, a 2 part timing covers, and ARP stainless steel fasterners. The engine breaths through 1 5/8" Hedmen headers and 3" dual exhausts with Flowmaster Super 40 2 chamber mufflers. The engine is bolted to a brand new TCI TH350 with a custom shift linkage. This turns a custom made heavy duty 2 piece drive shaft with a billet carrier and a polyeurothane bushing. The rear end is a brand new Moser Engineering 9" with 3.50 posi gears and 31 spline axles. The trailing arms on the rear have been boxed and a Hotchiss adjustable panhard rod has been added. All the bushings, engine mounts, and tranny mounts have been upgraded to polyeurothane ones. I also added new gas shocks. I converted the front to disc brakes and fabricated all the brake and fuel lines in the car. The gas tank and sending unit are also new. I upgraded to a 69 Camaro power steering pump and the stearing components are also new. The wheels are 15" x 7" Salt Flat Specials mounted with redline tires. I still to install the factory AC on the new engine after I fabricate new mounting brackets.

Hi Ho, Here is another 1963 Chevrolet I once owned. Here is info: Bought new March 1963, I put it in the body shop the next week and had the doors, hood, trunk, and fenders all shaved. The car still had the window sticker on the window when I took it in. In 1965 I moved the head lights back 41/2 inches and covered them, put on fender skirts and 62-SS hub caps. Painted everything black under hood white and added more chrome. Lee R. Starrick.

Here is my 1963 Chevy Biscayne 4-door. I picked this baby up for only $150, and she runs and drives. It has a 230 straight six and a "3 on the tree" tranny. This is a no-frills car, but it will be great for my friends and I to cruise around in this summer.

I have finally finished the 63' and have taken some updated shots of the car. Time pressing had to rush to finish the car before my wedding. It has got new floors, trunk, carpets, all new interior, lot of welds on the exterior and new paint. Still need to wet sand the car. for now this should do...
I did all the work, even the paint and interior.
